GMS Events, based in Chicago, Ill., is a full-service event and meeting planning company specializing in creative of events that bring the wow factor. Our philosophy is simple: make every event and meeting seamless for the client and memorable for participants.

Who we are. In business for over 15 years, GMS Events is part of a family of companies all specializing in various aspects of the hospitality industry. A part of the Maxxus Group of companies and a division of GMS Global Management Services, Inc., GMS Events manages meetings and plans events of any size or nature throughout the world. Along our sister company, GMS DMC, our destination management company partner, we cover the entire spectrum of event needs of our clients. We are your one-stop shop for all your event planning needs.

How we work. We are a boutique event planning company. At GMS Events, we first start our work with understanding your goals. We give every client the attention they need regardless of the size or complexity of their event or meeting. We embrace your input. We assign a dedicated account manager to every event. The account manager acts as the sole point of contact with the client. We offer our service on a menu basis. Thus, our open-line budget policy allows our clients to pick and choose the services they need and pay for what they need.
